Privacy Policy

This policy describes information handled through Humphreys County Court Docket, a private reference resource. It does not control information provided to a court, clerk, MEC, PAMEC, nCourt, or another linked service.

Data You Give Us Directly

A name, case number, or other term entered into an embedded search tool is processed by the provider that operates that tool. We do not maintain a court-record database or log the search terms entered into a provider’s form. If you email us, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond or manage the inquiry, subject to a legal obligation that requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

Our technical systems and service providers may receive routine visit information. That can include:

  • Internet protocol address and approximate technical location.
  • Browser, device, and operating-system details.
  • Page addresses, referring page, and visit timestamps.
  • Basic performance and error information.
  • Cookie or similar identifier data used for site operation or aggregated analytics.

Browser settings can limit cookies. Some functions or measurements may work differently when those controls are disabled.

What We Do With This Data

Technical information is used to operate, secure, measure, and improve the resource. It may help route a search request to an outside provider, diagnose a technical error, understand broad traffic patterns, or support advertising that keeps the resource available. We do not use visitor data to create a court profile or consumer report about another person.

No Court-Record Data on File

Humphreys County Court Docket does not host, sell, compile, or maintain official case files, docket sheets, hearing calendars, or a database of personal case information. The official record remains with the applicable Humphreys County court or clerk. Circuit and Chancery remote access is controlled by MEC and PAMEC, while a county Justice Court citation follows its separate official route. This resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside providers power some search boxes and linked services. Their privacy policies, account rules, data retention, and pricing apply to information submitted there. Review the provider’s policy before entering personal information or opening an account. We do not control an outside provider’s results or privacy practices.

Links to Other Websites

Links to Mississippi court, clerk, county, PAMEC, nCourt, and other official resources lead to separate services. A linked service controls its own privacy terms. Advertising services may also collect information under their own policies, including information used to measure or tailor advertising.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be handled by the service providers that support this resource:

  • Search providers when you submit a query to their tool.
  • Analytics or hosting providers that help operate the resource.
  • Advertising providers that place or measure an advertisement.
  • Government bodies or law enforcement when a valid legal demand requires disclosure.

How We Protect Your Data

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small online reference resource. No internet transmission, storage system, or third-party platform can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care with information submitted to any online form and do not submit unneeded sensitive case data.

Users Under 18

This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If we learn that a child has provided personal information directly to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Youth Court records have additional confidentiality protections and should be addressed to the appropriate court, not searched through this resource.

Your Data Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you directly provided to us, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. Court-record access in Mississippi is separate from this privacy policy. The Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code §§25-61-5 and 25-61-7, and the Mississippi Electronic Court System Administrative Procedures govern different public-record and electronic-court questions. Court dockets should be requested from the court custodian under its applicable procedure.

  • Ask what personal contact information we retain from a direct communication.
  • Request correction of inaccurate direct-contact information.
  • Request deletion where retention is not legally required.
  • Choose browser controls for cookies and similar technical data.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy when the resource, a service provider, or applicable practice changes. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.

Effective date: August 28, 2026
